‘Hurricane’ Sandy is hitting the Eastern USA right before the US presidential (s)elections. New York is directly in the path of the storm. New York is also know as the ‘Empire State’. Today, the only ship sunk by Sandy was a replica of the Bounty. Two crew members, including the captain are missing. The original and famous HMS Bounty was an armed merchant vessel of the British Empire that was on a mission to try and transplant breadfruit from Tahiti to the West Indies as a cheap source of food for slaves. Coincidentally, the surname of one of the crew members that is missing was ‘Christian’.
Surely there a little food for thought there for the average thinking person (or slave). Not that there are many thinking people left.
Many scientists are quite happy to talk openly about a ‘sixth extinction‘ being underway for the past 10,000 years or so because they blame humans for it. Blaming humans carries with it the anthropocentric implication that we are in some way immune to sudden extinction and can do something about the extinction of other species, if only we would change our ‘global warming’ ways! The true facts of the history of life on earth, however, suggest that, from ‘nature’s’ point of view, humans are just one more species whose days are also numbered. Indeed, the historical record shows that nature has, time and again, proven itself very adept and creative at resetting the clock on even the most ‘advanced’ civilizations.
For those who don’t want to read any further (or be confronted with the evidence), the nitty gritty is that, over the past few years, the celestial signs, in the form of an increasing number of meteorites/comet fragments invading our not-so-rarefied atmosphere, point to humanity being on the verge of an ‘extinction level event’. While the mainstream media is going to great lengths to convince the world that events in Syria are the result of yet another ‘people’s revolution’, the facts point clearly to yet another US government-sponsored bloody ‘regime change’. Given that the US has been a de facto global empire for at least 60 years, with all of the power, infrastructure and influence that entails, how difficult do we think it would be for agents of the empire to manufacture a ‘revolution’ in any given country? The answer, surprisingly, is ‘not so easily’. But it is doable, as long as the empire is willing to murder innocent civilians to create the impression of a brutal regime in need of removal. And the USA has never balked at murdering a few hundred, a few thousand, or even a few million civilians to ensure it gets its geo-political way, to the delight of psychopaths in power everywhere. From as far back as 2008, video recordings of strange and disturbing noises that seem to come from the sky have been appearing on the internet. In the last 12 months, many more of these ‘strange noise’ videos have been recorded and uploaded by people from many different parts of the globe.
The precise origin and meaning of this phenomenon is, as yet, unknown. Are we dealing with a cosmic version of the ‘bell tolling’ for life on planet earth, or is there a more mundane explanation?

According to General (Ret.) Wesley Clark, that was the Neocon (and CIA) plan in the immediate aftermath of the September 11th 2001 attacks. After Iraq, the countries slated for being “taken out” were, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Iran. But the best laid plans of mice and psychopaths often go awry, and Iraq was no cake-walk and the masses of humanity weren’t entirely as hoodwinkable as people like Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz et al liked to believe. But what is interesting is the fact that we are currently seeing a major NATO i.e. (US) operation against Libya, and now the British, French and Italian oligarchies are urging “sanctions” against Syria, and there have been “anti-government protests” in Lebanon and Iran.
In the much- quoted 2004 New York Times Magazine article, journalist Ron Suskind described a 2002 conversation with a senior Bush advisor — widely assumed to be Karl Rove:
“The aide said that guys like me were ‘in what we call the reality-based community,’ which he defined as people who ‘believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.’ I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. ‘That’s not the way the world really works anymore. We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors … and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.’ “
It’s probable that, given their belief that they “create their own reality”, the Neocons believed that they actually could orchestrate “regime change” in seven countries in five years with US troops on the ground. The actual reality, as we have seen, has been radically different. “Quagmire” just doesn’t get it and the truth of the matter is that all normal human beings will always recognise and resist occupation and corporate plunder and slavery, regardless of the extent or sophistication of the propaganda and lies.
