State-sponsored terrorism used to be a rather simple affair, where a state would order its military (or other covert armed group) to carry out terrorist acts against a civilian population, domestic or foreign. Over the course of the last 20 years or so however, state sponsored terrorism as practiced by Western ‘Democracies’ has evolved into a much more convoluted and complex operation.

One Man’s Suicide Bomber – National Security Building Bomb in Damascus and Bourgas Bus Bomb

Today, July 18th 2012, two acts of murder were committed. One occurred in Damascus, Syria, the other in Bourgas, Bulgaria, but that’s where the similarity ends, or so our Western governments and mainstream medias would have us believe.

In Damascus, the targets were high level members of the Syrian government (and anyone else who happened to be in the room). In Bulgaria, the targets were Jewish holiday-makers.

In Damascus, a spokesman for the ‘Free Syrian Army’ claimed that one of their members planted a TNT and C-4-based device inside the building ahead of the meeting, and then detonated the bomb remotely before fleeing to safety.  The ‘Free Syrian Army’ is, as I have pointed out, made up of CIA-trained and funded mercenaries who don’t care how many innocent people they kill because they are being paid to do so.

Syrian state television, on the other hand, said that the attack was carried out by a “terrorist suicide bomber”.

It was only a matter of time before NATO’s hired killers were tasked with carrying out a massacre in Syria that NATO stooges at the UN could then attempt to blame on the Syrian government. This time however, the con job isn’t going quite according to plan.

On Monday 28th May 2012 (‘Memorial Day’ in the US, for those who enjoy irony) the world’s public received a full frontal propaganda attack by the Western and other duplicitous media outlets parroting NATO and UN Security Council condemnations of a “massacre by Syrian troops” in the Syrian village of Houla on Friday 25th May. Syria’s Bloody CIA Revolution – A Distraction?

While the mainstream media is going to great lengths to convince the world that events in Syria are the result of yet another ‘people’s revolution’, the facts point clearly to yet another US government-sponsored bloody ‘regime change’. Given that the US has been a de facto global empire for at least 60 years, with all of the power, infrastructure and influence that entails, how difficult do we think it would be for agents of the empire to manufacture a ‘revolution’ in any given country? The answer, surprisingly, is ‘not so easily’. But it is doable, as long as the empire is willing to murder innocent civilians to create the impression of a brutal regime in need of removal. And the USA has never balked at murdering a few hundred, a few thousand, or even a few million civilians to ensure it gets its geo-political way, to the delight of psychopaths in power everywhere.
