British tabloid two days after the downing of MH17. Note the ‘coincidental’ juxtaposition of an image of the royal baby

One year ago today over Eastern Ukraine, someone deliberately shot down Malaysian Flight MH17 killing all 298 passengers and crew, most of them Dutch citizens.

In the immediate aftermath of the event, and I mean, ‘immediate’, the Western media and the Western political elite its works for, blamed ‘pro-Russian rebels’, Russia, and even Vladimir Putin himself for bringing down the plane with a Buk M1 missile. No evidence was presented to back up the claim. Read More →

imagesAt the Nato summit in Wales yesterday, General Sir Adrian Bradshaw, Britain’s most senior commander in Nato, said there had been “some deception and some deceit” from the Russian side over the conflict in Ukraine, and that “the reality on the ground is that Russian regular armed forces are being employed on the territory of Ukraine in support of this separatist movement.”

Russia, and Putin in particular, has been demonized by the West for the alleged involvement of the Russian government and military in aiding the pro-independence rebels in Ukraine. Putin and his ministers have repeatedly denied this claim but, of course, it is highly likely that the allegation is true.

Should we therefore all be outraged along with our Western ‘leaders’? Well, it depends. If you live in ‘moo-moo’ land, where, over the past 70 years, Western governments have been paragons of virtue and all things wonderful, and have only ever involved themselves in the affairs of supposedly sovereign nations in order to stamp out evil and bring freedom and democracy to all, then yes, you should be outraged that Russia would involve itself in Ukrainian affairs. openmindThe biggest problem in our world today is that the vast – and I mean vast – majority of people have no – again, I mean no – idea of how the world actually works and has been working for centuries. Let’s take Putin’s Russia as an example. Most people in the West, including those who are relatively well-informed about the geo-political context, see Putin as a ‘dictator’, a cold-eyed ex-FSB agent who is running Russia with an iron fist. There is only one reason why anyone can have ever formed this opinion: they are massively ignorant of how the world works. Putin is ex-FSB, and it is he, along with the upper echelons of Russian intelligence, that runs Russia. This is seen as ‘anti-democratic’ in the West and in those Russian minds infected by Western ‘values’ and propaganda. Yet US and British intelligence (among others) have been running not only the USA and UK for decades, but, indirectly, much of the rest of the world also.

It’s difficult (in a face-palm kind of way) to listen to people, even well-informed educated people and ‘experts’, opine on global politics when they are clearly ignorant of (or studiously ignore) this most important fact. There is no ‘democracy’ in this world, and there has not been for, oh… forever. Western populations are so damn dumbed down and dissociated that they actually can’t figure out that nothing of any significance changes with a change of government, despite all the evidence before them. In fact, it’s worse than that, things do change, but for the worse from the point of view of the average citizen. Who will argue that Western warmongering and the divide between rich and poor has increased dramatically over the past 40 years? How many administrations does that period comprise, about 10? Democrat, Republican, Democrat, Republican… Whoopee frickin’ doo. In the UK, it’s Conservative, Labour, Conservative, Labour… In both countries, the supposedly ‘bleeding-heart lefty’ Democrat and Labour governments fronted by Tony Blair and then Obama actually out-warmongered their supposedly traditionally uber-warmongering opposition parties.

How do you explain that? Easy. There is no difference between them because neither of them, as parties or Presidents or Prime Ministers, actually control anything of any significance. Someone else does. Read More →

Jihadi tanks! What’s next?!

In case you were wondering why, despite the sterling efforts of the Bush and Obama governments to bring ‘freedom and democracy’ to Iraq, life there appears to be worse than ever, a brief review of the nature of American and European largesse that has been bestowed on the Iraqi people over the past twenty-odd years may be instructive. 'Al Qaeda' in Ukraine? For decades, the US has relied on local or imported terrorist paramilitaries to win their 'proxy wars'. Ukraine's Right Sector is just the latest.

‘Al Qaeda’ in Ukraine? For decades, the US has relied on local or imported terrorist paramilitaries to win their ‘proxy wars’. Ukraine’s Right Sector is just the latest.

The US military hasn’t actually been involved in an overt “war”, in the traditional sense of a conflict between two mostly equally matched adversaries, since the end of the Korean war in 1953. As Col. Fletcher Prouty points out in his book JFK: The CIA, Vietnam, and the Plot to Assassinate John F. Kennedy, US soldiers in Vietnam were mainly fighting against 1 million North Vietnamese villagers who were ‘deported’ to the South (by the US Navy) where, like any dispossessed people, they resorted to theft to survive. These were the bulk of the ‘Viet Cong’ that the US military raped, tortured, napalmed and shot en masse. Every other US military and/or CIA ‘adventure’ from the 1960s until today (and there have been many) has involved one of the following three approaches: Read More →

The USA's unelected man in Ukraine signs deal with the EU

The USA’s unelected man in Ukraine signs a deal with the EU

I don’t understand the Ukrainian ‘revolution’.

Before the Ukrainian protests kicked off last October, a general election was scheduled for 2015.

As the protests grew and intensified, the elected Ukrainian president, Victor Yanukovych, agreed to bring elections forward to this year and to implement a host of measures, including reverting to the 2004 constitution, which drastically reduced Presidential power.

On paper, these changes met the vast majority of protestors’ demands, and promised a new government this year, via elections. Yet just as this agreement was being signed, the violence in Kiev flared and 100 people, including policemen, were shot dead…by someone.

The result was the appointment of a new president, a new prime minister and a new cabinet, with “ultra-nationalists” in many high-profile positions and in control of the army. None of these people were elected by the Ukrainian people, and the Prime Minister is the man named by US Asst. Sec. of State Victoria Nuland as the US choice for Prime Minister.

So while we are asked to believe that the goal of the protests in Ukraine was to bring an end to government corruption and unaccountability, bizarrely, they have resulted in a totally unelected and therefore unrepresentative Ukrainian government taking power. If I were Ukrainian, I’d be a little disappointed. I might even protest.

Admittedly, there are elections scheduled for May this year, and the current administration is only ‘interim’, yet the USA’s choice of ‘interim’ Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, appears to be establishing some ‘facts on the ground’ that are unlikely to be up for debate come May. For example, today he signed a deal with the EU, and talks with the IMF  and NATO, are in process. Again, if ‘democracy’ and the ‘will of the people’ were important to me, I’d be a little put out if I were Ukrainian.

So my question is; why, if the Ukrainian people are so determined to have ‘real Democracy’, are there no ‘people power’ protests in Ukraine over the fact that an unelected group of individuals, who were pushed into power by the US State Dept., are signing deals with the EU, the IMF and NATO in the name of the Ukrainian people? The whole things sounds a lot like a coup.

Oops.

Oops.

I can’t really comment in any informed way on societies in the East, except to point to the Chinese slave workers who produce mountains of plastic crap for Western nations to use and then dump in the ground and oceans; the Middle East’s role as a bombing target, ‘terrorist’ recruiting ground and civil war factory for Western warmongers, and South East Asia and Africa as a block of new ‘nations’ born out of the ‘white man’s burden’ to civilize their people via brutal colonization and then grant them ‘independence’ in the form of never-ending debt to Western banks.

In the West on the other hand, where I live, I can say with confidence that our modern society, its political and social conventions, customs and morality, has past it’s expiry date and is well and truly moribund. If I were a political or social cartoonist, the image would be a giant rotting corpse plastered in thick make up and doused in cheap perfume with a greedy banker’s hand up its ass making it move and talk to fool the public into thinking that they actually has a future worth living in.

Leading the cast in this tragicomedy (heavy on the tragi) we find our psychopathic leaders and their media whores trying extra hard to convince us that everything is just fine. But that smell, that stench of lies and the screaming contradiction between what they say and what we can all see (if we look) is making it increasingly hard to believe them, and even our own wishful thinking. A grand conspiracy to poison the food supply? Not really.

A grand conspiracy to poison the food supply? Not really.

“Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character the authorities consider desirable.”

~ Bertrand Russell, The Impact of Science on Society.

Anyone who has taken even a cursory look at what passes for human food these days can’t but conclude that it is literally unfit to eat. Aspartame, BPA, fluoride, MSG, preservatives, cloned or irradiated meats, factory farming, GMOs, artificial colors, artificial flavors, nanoparticles – the list of franken-foods that we are asked to happily shove down our throats is ever-expanding and ever-more horrifying. It seems every day there’s a different news story about how our food supply is being perverted in ways that take us further and further away from what actually nourishes our bodies, and therefore ever further from being able to think, move and generally function as we should.

One would be forgiven, therefore, for seeing some sort of agenda behind this perversion of our food. How else can we explain the corruption of the most essential ingredient for mental, emotional and physical health, if not by positing a grand conscious conspiracy on the part of the ‘elite’ to control the global population? A population that isn’t able to think and do, isn’t able to rebel, right? Surely a population that is addicted to food additives – and even addictive natural foods that alter our perceptions, like gluten, casein and sugar, and make us dependent on these foods – is a population that is easily molded to the machinations of a ruling class. mideast-syriaThey tried it at least once already, and that time, rather than the Assad government, it was proven that, if anyone had used chemical weapons in Syria, it was the Western government-backed ‘Syrian rebels’ aka ‘al-Qaeda’, and that those weapons had been supplied to them by the same Western governments and intel agencies via proxies like the Bahrain or Qatar government. The same spurious allegation has been raised again, as if the ‘elite’ believe that the average citizen has a memory span of only a few months (maybe they’re right about that). Read More →

Houston, we have a problem.

Last Wednesday, alleged Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, appeared for the first time in court. Much like James Holmes who was accused of the Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting in July 2012, Tsarnaev appeared confused and distracted in court, and “acted weird”. Such behavior is, of course, not necessarily unusual for someone who stands accused of mass murder.  In Tsarnaev’s case however, we have a problem that can’t be explained away so easily.

Check out this video I put together of recent mainstream media reports and a short video of Tsarnaev himself.
