British tabloid two days after the downing of MH17. Note the ‘coincidental’ juxtaposition of an image of the royal baby
One year ago today over Eastern Ukraine, someone deliberately shot down Malaysian Flight MH17 killing all 298 passengers and crew, most of them Dutch citizens.
In the immediate aftermath of the event, and I mean, ‘immediate’, the Western media and the Western political elite its works for, blamed ‘pro-Russian rebels’, Russia, and even Vladimir Putin himself for bringing down the plane with a Buk M1 missile. No evidence was presented to back up the claim. Read More →
Two Palestinian boys, murdered by the Israeli military
Dead women, dead children, dead babies. Limbs missing, brains missing, guts spilled out on the floor. It’s impossible to put a positive spin on those kinds of images, unless you’re Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Two days ago, Bibi sought to explain why, in the space of a few hours, Israeli soldiers, under his orders, had massacred 63 people, including 17 children, in the Shuja’iya neighborhood to the east of Gaza City. He said:
“We have to protect ourselves. We try to target the rocketeers, we do. And all civilian casualties are not intended by us but actually intended by Hamas who want to pile up as many civilian dead as they can because somebody said they use telegenically dead Palestinians for the cause. They want the more dead the better.”

East Ukrainian rebels inspect the crash site of MH17
Is everyone enjoying the show? The ridiculously transparent attempt by the entire Western media and their political ‘elite’ masters to use the alleged shooting down of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 as part of their ‘asymmetric’ warfare against Russia and Vladimir Putin. Even the supposedly ‘leftist’ UK Guardian newspaper has been running headlines like World demands answers from Russia after Malaysia Airlines plane’s destruction over Ukraine and Hilary Clinton (wasn’t she fired?) wasted no time in declaring authoritatively that Russian rebels were responsible for the downing of the plane and that “Putin has gone too far”. Clinton’s statement clearly exposes her own and her former government’s complete lack of respect for due process, truth, and the extreme prejudice with which they both view the Russian Federation. It’s also clearly complete and utter BS because no one could possibly know who was responsible for the shooting down of Flight MH17 just a few hours after it fell out of the sky.
Then again, the US government never did let the facts get in the way of a good dose of propaganda, and to be fair, from the point of view of Clinton and her ilk, Putin has gone ‘too far’, but it has nothing to do with any Malaysian aircraft. Read More →
While much of the public was being distracted by news reports of the score line in the Germany-Brazil World Cup game, another, admittedly less important, high-scoring ‘game’ was playing out in Israel/Palestine. While Brazil lost 7 to 1 to Germany, so far, Palestinians losses to Israel are running at 81-0, with no end to the carnage in sight.
A week ago I expressed my suspicions about the timing of the kidnapping and murder of the three Israelis teens. Since then, more details have come to light that confirm that the kidnapping was most likely a carefully orchestrated Israeli government propaganda campaign designed to destroy the Fatah/Hamas unity government, demomize the Palestinians as ‘terrorists’, and, as always, give the psychopaths in Tel Aviv another opportunity to blow Palestinian women and children to pieces. The 3 kidnapped and murdered Israeli teenagers
Ya gotta wonder…
About a month ago, a Fatah-Hamas unity government was sworn in. The Israelis warned/threatened the whole world not to recognize it because Israel has worked hard over the past 40 years to prevent any form of Palestinian unity from breaking out. But Netanyahu’s demands fell on deaf ears and several countries, along with the U.N., welcomed the development. Norway went as far as to ‘normalize relations’ with the new ‘interim government’. I can’t really comment in any informed way on societies in the East, except to point to the Chinese slave workers who produce mountains of plastic crap for Western nations to use and then dump in the ground and oceans; the Middle East’s role as a bombing target, ‘terrorist’ recruiting ground and civil war factory for Western warmongers, and South East Asia and Africa as a block of new ‘nations’ born out of the ‘white man’s burden’ to civilize their people via brutal colonization and then grant them ‘independence’ in the form of never-ending debt to Western banks.
In the West on the other hand, where I live, I can say with confidence that our modern society, its political and social conventions, customs and morality, has past it’s expiry date and is well and truly moribund. If I were a political or social cartoonist, the image would be a giant rotting corpse plastered in thick make up and doused in cheap perfume with a greedy banker’s hand up its ass making it move and talk to fool the public into thinking that they actually has a future worth living in.
Leading the cast in this tragicomedy (heavy on the tragi) we find our psychopathic leaders and their media whores trying extra hard to convince us that everything is just fine. But that smell, that stench of lies and the screaming contradiction between what they say and what we can all see (if we look) is making it increasingly hard to believe them, and even our own wishful thinking. Western-backed death squads in Syria aka ‘al-qaeda’
Western governments (in league with their Middle Eastern client states) began their proxy war attack (via paid mercenaries aka ‘al-qaeda’) on Syria in 2011. The ongoing Syria campaign is just the latest in a long line of direct or indirect attempts at ‘regime change’ by the Western (and global) elite over the past 10 years (although their history of attacking and destabilizing and overthrowing sovereign governments goes back at least 100 years).
Each time I have commented on these illegal and inhuman invasions and proxy wars, I have pointed to the evidence that we are not, and never have been, dealing with a ‘popular revolution’ or a ‘civil war’ or a ‘terrorist threat’, but rather, always and everywhere with the age-old, tried and tested murderous tactics and outrageous lies of Western powers.
These type of ‘regime change’ operations include the use of several scurrilous, brutal and, frankly psychopathic tactics: Read More →
When a people that have been dispossessed of their land, livelihoods and homes, periodically murdered and regularly terrorized, take action to resist and defend themselves, they are guilty of nothing but standing up for their human rights and their rights under international law.
BBC Arabic Photo Journalist, Jihad Masharawi, weeps as he holds his baby son who was murdered by the Israeli army today
Yesterday, Wed. 14th Nov. 2012 Israel launched the latest in a long line of “Operations” that stretch back over 60 years aimed at terrorizing the people of Palestine. By naming the attack ‘Operation ‘pillar of cloud” the Israeli military was unambiguous about its intent: to blow up as much of Gaza and as many Palestinians as they saw fit.
Why do Palestinians fire rockets into Israel? The vast majority of them, and I mean the VAST majority either miss their target or make a small hole in the ground far from their intended target. The rocket attacks appear to serve only as justification for the Israeli military to attack Gaza and murder Palestinians. So what’s the point?
The point is that the rocket attacks are the Palestinians ONLY way of protesting against the 60 year long occupation of their land responding to unprovoked Israeli attacks against and murder of Palestinian civilians. Think about that. The Palestinians have no option to appeal to the international community because no one listens. They have zero chance of the Western media applying pressure to halt Israeli aggression and redress Palestinian grievances because the Western media is unashamedly biased towards Israel.
The Palestinians have two choices: they can sit quietly by and allow the IDF to arbitrarily and summarily murder them, or they can fire primitive rockets at the closest targets inside Israel and hope that they make the Israeli government think twice. But even here the Palestinians have a problem: the Israeli government welcomes the firing of Palestinian rockets into Israel, and they periodically provoke it. Read More →
Note: I wrote this article in June 2010 in response to the Israeli attack on the humanitarian aid ship the ‘Mavi Marmara’ and the murder of 9 of its passengers by IDF thugs. I had not published it on this blog, so here it is.
At approximately 4am on May 31st 2010, a group of vessels attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza were attacked by the Israeli navy in international waters off the coast of the occupied Palestinian territories. Nine civilians aboard the largest vessel, the Mavi Marmara, were shot dead by Israeli soldiers and dozens more were wounded. The Israeli government claimed it was exercising its right to self defence. Flotilla members, and much of the international community, saw it as an act of piracy and murder on the high seas that has exposed deep flaws in the Israeli mentality and further alienated it from the rest of the world.
The group of eight ships, known as the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, was a project of the Free Gaza Movement, a group of human rights activists from 37 countries. The ships carried over 700 people including journalists and dignitaries from the US to Malaysia and from Norway to South Africa. The stated goal of the Free Gaza Movement is to raise international awareness about “the prison-like closure of the Gaza Strip” and pressure the international community to “review its sanctions policy and end its support for continued Israeli occupation.” The movement’s board of advisors includes former and serving British, Irish and American politicians and distinguished academics, among others.
To fully understand the motivation of Gaza aid groups such as the Free Gaza movement, we must first take a brief look at the history of the occupied Palestinian territories and the state of Israel. Bear with me then as I try to condense, as objectively as possible, ninety years of history in a few short paragraphs. Read More →
A US flag burning at the US embassy in Jordan. One of many such demonstrations that have taken place across the Middle East on many occasions over the past 40 years.
Western governments and the Western media would love for the entire world to believe that the recent (and ongoing) attacks on US embassies in the Middle East, and the killing of the US ambassador and 3 CIA agents in Libya, are motivated solely by the publication of a poorly made ‘film’ that had been doctored to ‘insult’ Islam and Mohammed. This narrative pitches Muslims in general as simple-minded fanatical barbarians, ungrateful for all that Western governments have done for them, and attempts to convince the average Westerner that the only thing Muslims understand is force.
